3 Weeks In Uganda
Volunteer on 3 Student-led Start-up Social Ventures
We place you with your peers, using your natural skills to catalyze their start-up social enterprises. All the while, you’ll be enjoying discovering the real Uganda and learning about creating global social change.

3 Action Packed Weeks
For 2018, we’re offering 2 trips:
10th – 31st August
31st August – 21st September
For both, the schedule will be as follows:
Before travelling, you’ll have an introductory Skype call with the leadership of one venture which matches your interests – to give you a taste of things to come and allow you to get started with your work ahead of arriving.
On reaching Uganda, you’ll select two more ventures to work with. A typical working day will be working with one venture in the morning and another in the afternoon. Socials around Kampala will be organised every evening – such as going to an acoustic music night, pub quiz, or learning how to cook traditional Ugandan dishes. On weekends, UniTED will help you arrange activities exploring Uganda (see below).
At the end of the 3 weeks, you will have helped ventures to progress with their strategic plans, and will depart with the intention to continue volunteering remotely with the friends from at least one venture.
Choose additional activities at the weekends…
As a charity, UniTED does not profit from its activities. All feed go towards operating costs.
